I was looking to add some unique elements to my wedding at Carmel Valley Ranch, and thought of Illusions of Grandeur right away. I had heard good things about them, and they were continually recommended by the wedding venues we met with. They did not disappoint - everything I envisioned and asked for was done wonderfully! I received so many compliments from my guests about the decor. Even as I was preparing to walk down the aisle, I kept taking notice of how great everything looked. Knowing Illusions of Grandeur was handling so many details for our reception (i.e. centerpieces, candy buffet, chair rental, linens, etc.) allowed me to be stress-free on my wedding day. It was a relief to show up and see everything done just how I wanted it.
Thank you and your amazing crew for the incredible job you did for my daughter's wedding. My daughter and her husband had lovely thoughts about what they wanted for their wedding, and you were able to help them realize their vision. The transformation of the green house from a fairly uninteresting space into a warm, magic, plant-filled room was just awesome. The outdoor spaces for both the wedding and the brunch were so inviting - with umbrellas, fire pits, chuck wagons - again, just fantastic. My husband and I were especially impressed with the quiet professionalism of your staff. Your team was extremely responsive and helped allay any pre-wedding nervousness. You helped us create a truly fairy-tale wedding!
Illusions has a very talented, well trained and extremely professional staff that is truly a joy to work with. They are always making sure that the client is taken care of and treated with nothing but the best service. I have even seen the staff step in and take on roles in which they were not hired for in order to ensure an amazing day.
The Prom Party was a huge success and absolutely everyone loved the decorations! I heard so many comments about how fabulous the tents, colors, and linens were. Thank you so much for all you did to accommodate our budget, and for helping to make the event perfect.

The theme you created and designed for my clients annual event, "Oceans of the World," totally exceeded my expectations. As I walked through each area of the Aquarium, I was transported to that part of the world. The atmosphere and feeling that you created spoke for itself. Between the colors, entertainment and music, coordinating and unique bars, the decorations and the food all paired together.
The Monterey Bay Ballroom turned out beautiful. With the red screen and the red bar, everything else in very soft colors. The client was very happy and said it looked just as she imagined. All the banquet staff loved the night club look!
Thanks so much for everything. You guys did a fantastic job. Everyone was so impressed with the event - they could not believe the decor (and food.) A total success and you and Illusions deserve a great deal of credit for that.

The team at Illusions of Grandeur always work within my budget and continually offer suggestions to "raise the bar" with the décor. Once the theme is chosen, they have access to an amazing amount of props, décor, and furniture; things I would never be able to source on my own. In the end the event was visually stunning, flawlessly executed and our team members had an amazing time. I cannot say enough great things about this company, they totally rock
